In my art, a portal is a visual doorway, a circle of color and motion that invites you into a deeper, calmer, or more curious part of yourself. Portals can shift a space, soften a mood, or open something inside the viewer simply by being present on the wall.
Why I Paint Portals
During the early days of lockdown, painting became my personal lifeline — a way to stay grounded, creative, and connected and portals emerged and made them selves known to me that they were a way for my healing practice to be extended when I could not though bodies on my massage table.
As I shared them, I discovered others felt something too:
