This piece is a visual meditation on the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi — the practice of mending broken pottery with gold, not to disguise the damage, but to celebrate it.

 

Kintsugi honors imperfection as part of the journey. The golden cracks and fractured layers in this work speak to the beauty found in restoration — where loss is not erased but illuminated.
