Experience: I have seen Mark once a month for a while now. As a single person, I don't get as much affectionate touch as I would like, and Mark has wonderfully helped me fill that need. I started seeing him when I realized (with my therapist) I was touch deprived and in fact, I was uncomfortable with touch because of childhood physical abuse. Mark has been an amazing guide, helping me to receive touch and pleasure more fully without it triggering deep fear that I will be taken advantage of just because I am being touched. The monthly massage has become so important that it's not a luxury, it's a priority for my well-being, despite these hard economic times. I deserve it and he's certainly worth every penny!

Experience: I scheduled a 90 minute session (via e-mail) with Mark four days in advance. He answered my e-mail the same day. He usually does not begin his sessions until 10 a.m., but because of my window of availability, he flexed his schedule and accommodated my request. He sent me his address with instructions on how to find his place, and his phone number in the event that I had trouble locating him. I arrived a couple of minutes early and Mark answered the door. His million dollar smile immediately set me at ease. He ushered me into his massage room which was dimly lit, very warm and filled with the sounds of soothing music and a waterfall. He told me to undress and position myself on the massage table and while I was doing this, he left the room and returned after I was on the table. The massage was indescribably delicious. I'll just say it was a combination of firm to medium pressure, flowing strokes, light touch, tickling, hot oil drizzling on my body ... at one point I nearly drifted to sleep, so comforting was his touch and presence. At the conclusion of the massage, he used hot stone therapy and wrapped me like a cocoon in a warmed blanket. My session with Mark was not rushed or hurried in any way. I scheduled 90 minutes and it ended up being an hour and forty-five minutes in length - and I was the one that cut it short because of my time schedule! This is certainly the best massage I have ever experienced! Mark is a gem! He provided bottled water and in his bathroom, he has a tray of assorted soaps, lotions, mouthwashes, etc. all for his clients' use. I felt like I was in a top-rate 5 star hotel. I will definitely return!

Experience: This is the third time I've seen Mark, and each time I have been impressed with the artistry and skill with which he works. The way he uses his hands, his body, the oil, and his attention all speak to the depth of skill and intention with which he works. His intuitive comments to me while he worked (which I asked for) were right on, and helped me shift some energetically stuck areas in my life. I look forward to working more with him in the future.

Experience: This man is a HEALER! This is my second massage with him and he is truly gifted at what he does. His techniques are well integrated thus creating more of an EXPERIENCE than just a massage. I highly recommend him and wish that I had more business trips to SF.

To be honest, for the first three months I worked with him I tried to find his flaws and weaknesses so I would be justified in ending the powerful exploration and realizations his work provoked. But Mark genuinely "steps aside" from his own personal "stuff" in service to others so that his touch as a body worker, his words as a spiritual coach, and his guidance of creative exercises as a workshop facilitator is an experience of being served purely and loved unconditionally.
